shadow | F is for Forgiveness... Two Drabbles??

Two drabbles apparently for

akinarei. This one hasn't made it to SS concept yet, but for some reason, someone decided to come pay me a visit this morning. ^^; Maybe he's been feeling a bit neglected lately?

Exactly 100 words each. ^_^

Mai stared at the cup of tea on her desk. The black-clad person who put it there was poker-faced, as always. But he only made her tea when she was upset or to apologise.

She wasn't upset. And he hasn't done anything.

Suspicious, Mai hesitantly accepted the cup. “Thank you,” she said.

She took a sip. It was heavenly, but ever so slightly different...?

Mai put the cup down and looked up. His eyes glinted... with mischief??

'That look... that's...'

He leaned down gently brushing her lips with his.

“!!” Her eyes widened in surprise.

“Asking forgiveness first, Gene?!”

The first time she called him by his real name, he apologised and asked her forgiveness for having used her. But to her, there was nothing to forgive. The next time they met, she asked him what he'd been about to say by the lake that evening.

'There's something I wanted to tell you... but I won't.'

But he just smiled and shook his head. “You already forgave me for everything that happened then, so I'll keep that to myself,” he said mischievously.

Mai stared at him frustrated. “I should never have forgiven you until after you told me! Gene!!”

Poor Lin-san... where's he been? Has he even shown up in the drabbles yet? That's okay, Naru's started to poke at me saying I should pay more attention to him again... >.<;;
