Silly idea?

shadowGiven all the cookie baking and butter usage happening over here lately, I'm considering making my own butter. I have no idea if this is even remotely wise. The only plus to this plan that I can think of is gaining the by-product buttermilk which can be used for making scones. ...I suspect this might be a very silly idea......
