Little details

Argh! It's the attack of the little details! I was doing some cleanup work on an earlier chapter to my spring FF only to discover that I had five men standing around in a six-mat room with their footwear and things with them. That's *so* not going to be comfortable or unnoticeable. Okay, it's not as bad as Ryokuryou where they gave all the guys a six-mat room to sleep in, but still. Same idea. >.> I wonder if anyone (John) did end up sleeping in the closet during that investigation... :P

Otherwise, I get the feeling I need to re-arrange my FF site. It's starting to look messy and disorganised. *sigh* Something I really didn't want to have to think or worry about right now. >.>

And a little snippet that became unusable in my spring FF. *sigh* I'd really like to use it, but the scene's too serious for it to fit in the way it's standing right now. Why? Why can't I use this?! :P


"I guess this is one of those times when I should reveal another part of myself in order to help pass the time while we wait," Yasuhara said with a mischievous wink at Bou-san.

"No, it's not!" Bou-san yelled as goosebumps broke out over his entire body. "Lin-san, I'm begging you, trade places with me! I'll stay here with John and Naru-bou, *you* go with this guy."

"...Me...?" Lin asked looking surprised.

"Ahahah, that's no good, Norio. Lin-san's needed here, so no running away." Yasuhara laughed.

"I'm Mai's 'father', so it makes more sense for me to stay here," Bou-san said desperately. "You go with the young man, Lin-san. I'll help keep an eye on Mai."

Before Lin could answer however, an arctic chill spread throughout the room as Naru glared at the three of them. "Now's not the time for that sort of stupidity," he said icily. "Get to work."


Oh well. Back to working things out again. :P

It's supposed to be part of the spring FF I'm working on. It takes place after SS2 (the investigative story I've written in Japanese). You won't recognise it because you haven't read it yet. (Unless you mean the part about John. That was in Yasuhara's school investigation.) My spring FF is looking pretty mundane at the moment, but is also looking like a precursor story. >.> What's with all these TBCs?! >.<;;

Poor Bou-san. Is it bad that I absolutely love seeing Yasuhara torment him? I do adore him, but I especially adore him when he's being deviled by that evil, evil child.

*laughs* Yasuhara's *so* evil and so much fun to watch. And poor Bou-san has absolutely no chance against the guy. ^^;; They're the perfect manzai pair. ^o^

You say that it's part of a continuation of your SS2 story? I started to read that but I've only gotten through the prologue...I was about to start chapter 1, but the length intimidated me...it takes me a looooong time to read Japanese.

Hmm... it takes place after that story time-wise. If you're trying to read that one, good luck! There are lots of mistakes made throughout, but it's not easy for me to fix. I ran into a similar situation when writing up この花を. The character encoding is troublesome. ^^;;
