It would be a true crack!fic if Masako had to explain anything like that. @_@ It scares me thinking about it.
The only one who wouldn't have a problem sadly would be Ayako. First manga, anyone? Bou-san would do it, albeit reluctantly or as a last resort, and he'd be the voice of reason, complete with putting one hand on John's shoulder and explaining in a simple terms.
