As for Naru vs Noll... Hmm, she's always used ナル and never ノール even after John explained that the short form for 'Oliver' is 'Noll'. Also, in Akumu, Mai tells Midori-san to call him 'Naru' and that it's short for 'narcissistic Naru-chan'. I think 'Naru' has stuck to him much more. ^^;;
