I love evil!naru as well but what I loved more about this was Mai's inner thoughts (so to speak) about the differences bwten Noll and Gene. How they both interacted with her. How she knew that telling Noll how she felt would make him feel and she's right :) You nailed her emotion on the head. Actually you nailed both their emotions.
I echo Aki's comment about you having read the novels, it makes your ficts so much more believable, like this could really happen. Your flow is better then alot of GH fanfict writers.
Mai calling him dense was great :D
invariably they preferred Gene and his sweet personality over Naru
